We are hoping to set up a lunch as well so the earlier you make your interest known the better.

Rudi is planning a fun walk for this Thursday, meet at Essex Park Community.

We are having a repeat visit to the Sporting Shooters Range at Springvale on the 4th March for $25 each.

News About Future Use of Essex Park Centre

Our long term aim is to be able to provide a 'Shed' that members can access at any time.

While we look for a final home Casey Council have indicated they could offer us increased use of the Essex Park Community Centre.
Additional Room

The offer is the exclusive use of an additional room, and the use of the main space for three days a week.

It is suggested this would be for an initial 3 year period.

The general feeling of the group is that this is a worthwhile increase in space while we work towards a new 'full time' home.

Parks Victoria

Our project to repair picnic tables for Parks Victoria was succesful and they have asked if we would be able to build some benches

We will be starting back on Tuesday the 16th January.

Listerfield Picnic Tables Update

Our project to assist Parks Victoria by renovating Picnic Tables at Listerfield Lake is proceeding well.

Last week we made so much progress we ran out of  timber.

There are still a number of benches that need work so we intend to continue on in 2018.

Great Pre-Christmas Function

This week we had a great morning, with members, and partners, being entertained by the Chordites.

It was a great show  by this harmony group with their versions of many popular numbers, including:

  • My Toupee Blew By You (Blue Bayou)
  • Jingle Bells
  • When the Saints Go Marching In
  • Always looking On the Bright Side
  • Plus their tribute to sheds.
Thanks to Peter for running the organising committee.

As Well

Trevor gave a rundown of our year thanking the Council and the Rotary Club of Endeavour hills for their support.

Peter had made up an entertaining video showing what happened over the year.

Brian thanked Trevor for being a driving force in the clubs development.

Thanks to all who contributed to the raffle
